Sports Director - Jonathan Wong
Hi everyone! I am Jonathan, the sports director of ACG this year. I am a fourth-year
Biochemistry student. The Sports Department is responsible to organize sports
eventsfor our members. This year, we are planning to organize Ski Trip, basketball,
badminton, futsal tournaments. The Sports Department is now looking for outgoing,
enthusiastic, dedicated executives. Please join the sports department and be one of

Entertainment Director - Judy Huang
Hello, this is Judy. I am very happy to be the entertainment director of this year.
After a fruitful year as an executive in the department, I can’t wait to experience
another year of happy club life with all of you. By joining as an executive, you can
not only have a chance to be a producer of a karaoke contest, which is one of the
biggest events in ACG, but also have a stage to show your creativeness to set up
many other exciting events to be enjoyed with others. So, what are you waiting for?

Performing Arts Director - Edison Zhao
Hi NEWBIES...and those old ones. It is my pleasure to welcome you all to the PA
department! In the coming future, PA department will be hosting one of the
biggest events, an annual fund-raising drama, which is totally different from the
plays we have done before. The drama of this year is about a detective story. If
you like homicides, blood, knife...no, I mean if you like doing lighting, audio,
setting design, props design, hair design, costume making, stage make -up,
music playing, and acting, and fooling around, and having dinner without paying
for it, please don’t wait. PA department is the right place for you! And, my name
is Edison Zhao. Your PA director this year, and I like taking pictures. See you

Volunteering Director - Daisy Li
Welcome to ACG! This year we have a lot of fun volunteering opportunities
available for members to participate in. We are planning to help the Richmond
community center with their fundraiser galas during the fall, and planning to
participate in the 24 Hour Famine to help raise awareness for this cause. We are
also going to be continuing in our tradition of volunteering for the Vancouver Beauty
Pageant and continuing to help with events hosted by the Canadian Cancer Society.
We will also be starting some new volunteering events, such as volunteering for
Stanley Park’s Invasive species removal project and helping Vancouver General
Hospital raise funds. Joining the volunteering department not only provides you
with a great opportunity to contribute back to the community, it also gives you a
chance to meet new people. We are planning many get together, such as BBT
lunches at the UBC village and dinners in Richmond and various other locations. We
are also planning to have a Halloween party and hope everyone can come to that.
If you have anything you want to do, either as part of the volunteering department
or as a regular member, I am always willing to listen, so don’t be afraid to ask.

IT/Graphics Director - Isabelle Lau
Hi everyone and a warm welcome to ACG! My name is Isabelle Lau and I am
honoured and excited to be this year’s graphics director. This is my first time
with ACG and I looove graphics design. With the help of Jessica and Lily, we will
attempt to create attractive designs for the club’s needs throughout the year. If
you’re an aspiring computer graphics designer, particularly in the field of digital
arts or anything of the sort, become one of our executives and dazzle us with
your skills! I hope to lead a group of designers so that we can all become even
better designers than before. Don’t hesitate to approach me! I’m open to
anything and everything. I hope you will enjoy the designs for this year and
make sure to be involved as much as possible! See you all soon!

Marketing Director - David Wong
Hello everyone! First of all, a big warm welcome to all the ACG members! My
name is David Wong, and I have been delighted to be this year’s marketing
department director. On behalf of ACG, I would like to thank you all for being
involved in this big family. For those who are looking for an extraordinary
experience, you should apply to become one of our executives! Furthermore, if
you are looking for a head start into the commerce field, then the marketing
department is definitely a great option for you! The marketing department is
responsible for finding sponsors for our events, and to develop marketing
strategies to promote our club. Through our department, not only will you be
able to gain relative experience, but it is also a great chance to build up your
social network in and out of our campus! We are very excited to have you in our
club and I am sure you will have lots of fun with us this year!

Social Director - Fabia Lam
Hi everyone! I’m Fabia, this year’s social director. This is my 2nd year at UBC, and
my 1st year at ACG. Other than partying, the thing I like to do most is eat! So you
will probably bump into me often at either the SUB or the village.
Our social department hosts lots of exciting events throughout the year like
Halloween and New Years Eve. etc. We work with entertainment groups in
Vancouver to host events at the some of the hottest places in Vancouver. Our events
are a great way to meet new people and have a good time with your friends.
This year, my goal is to have ACG host at least one event every two months. I hope
to put together an amazing group of execs and work together so that ACG can bring
you the most memorable events of the year. If you are outgoing and fun and you
love to party, the social department is the perfect place for you. I plan to bring you
all a year packed with amazing events and parties, and I look forward to seeing you
guys there!
